Park Hill B&B Home Page

Parkhill B&B is run by Anne and Lindsay and offers 4 well appointed quality en suite rooms, a king sized 4 poster with en suite shower and bath, one twin room with en suite shower and bath and two king sized double rooms, each with en suite shower. All are well equipped with complimentary Croft Sherry, hospitality tray, flat screen tvs, dvd players and a library of dvds to choose from, free computer and wifi access, hairdryer. (Sorry no irons in the rooms but we are more than happy to press any clothes you require.) Lindsay is a retired hotelier with a wealth of local information to share with his visitors to this part of Yorkshire, rightly called Gateway to The Dales.

Lindsay is reknowned for his superb Yorkshire breakfasts. Start with a choice of yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit platter, health bar with fruits nuts and seeds, ham, cheeses, then on to the main event, cooked to order. We try to use as many local products as possible. The award winning thick pork sausages are excellent, the eggs are fresh from the local farm, home grown tomatoes whenever available. Breads from the local bakery. A good selection of home made jams and marmalades. And we are happy to cater for vegetarians! - There is ample private parking.

Park Hill stands opposite the Battery, thought to be so named because of a cannon emplacement during the siege of Skipton Castle in the English Civil War.
